A Foreign Newspaper Just Told Trump What Every Sane American Wants To Say And It’s Spectacular

This is absolutely outstanding.

“If there’s any country in the world that seems to have no problem telling you exactly what they think of you, it’s Germany. To some, that’s the pinnacle of enlightenment. The freedom of speech and thought to express just what you mean to say is emancipating.

To someone like Donald Trump, it’s a bit of an affront.

Now, we’re not sure if Trump has people read articles about him to him, because the world is relatively sure that Donald Trump doesn’t read. I feel pretty confident that Trump will never see this article, for example. But the big stuff is probably still on his radar, if only because of his staff alerting him to things he should be annoyed by on any given day.

But every once in a while, even the Germans outdo themselves. That’s the case with this article in Der Spiegel, originally titled “Donald Trump is a Menace To The World.”

The author, Klaus Brinkbäumer, argues that Trump is very definitely not fit to lead the United States, nor any country, really. The litany of reasons in the piece is… well, it’s legendary.

Donald Trump is not fit to be president of the United States. He does not possess the requisite intellect and does not understand the significance of the office he holds nor the tasks associated with it. He doesn’t read. He doesn’t bother to peruse important files and intelligence reports and knows little about the issues that he has identified as his priorities.”

Hold up — did Klaus just call Donald a “low IQ” leader?

But really, it’s the very next sentence that drives home what’s really wrong with Donald Trump:

His decisions are capricious and they are delivered in the form of tyrannical decrees.”

From the wall to the Muslim ban to the decision to stop allowing transgender soldiers to serve their country, Donald Trump has been nothing short of that exact thing — capricious.

Now that we know that Trump is guilty of conspiring together with Russia to win the 2016 election, it only adds to the sense that we have had a giant piece of our country stolen away by a villain. If only our own press would begin talking about Trump in these terms, and these terms only.

I’ll let you click the link above to the article to see all of the reasons that are listed in Der Spiegel, but try not to hurt your neck nodding along so vigorously.
